About Peter Youngren
Peter Youngren received the call to World Evangelism at the age of fifteen. Still a teenager, he began preaching in small chapels and mission houses. While attending Bible College in the USA, God spoke to him in a vision where he saw the outline of the continents of the world appear one by one. There were no rivers, mountains, or fields; only wall-to-wall people, their faces sad, desperate, and hopeless. Then the continents appeared again but this time the wind of the Holy Spirit swept over each one the people, and their faces turned to radiant joy. The vision was repeated several times. The sense of God’s holiness was powerful. Peter took hold of the vision and began to live and act with the urgency of GOSPEL ADVANCEMENT gripping his heart and mind. Jesus words in Matthew 24:14 propelled him forward to conduct unprecedented evangelistic efforts on every continent.
Peter founded World Impact Ministries, and has since conducted Gospel Festivals that have drawn up to 600,000 people in one service. More than 15 million have received follow up material for new believers. 310,000 pastors have received training through Gospel Revolution Seminars that focus on the finished work of Christ and the Gospel of God’s grace.
Since 2009 Peter operates Canada’s largest total Christian television channel, Grace TV.
As founder of World Impact Ministries, Grace TV, World Impact Bible Institute, Way of Peace, and the Toronto International Celebration Church, Canada, Peter is committed to Gospel Advancement that will bring the truth of what Christ has done to every person- 7 BILLION SOULS; ONE AT A TIME.
Peter’s wife Taina is his constant companion and co-worker.
