“It has long been our vision, not only to evangelize Thailand, but the surrounding nations; Burma, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and China.”

“An ordinary day, I wasn’t sure I even wanted to be there that day but I trekked through the schoolyard, up the stairs, and into a classroom full of young men aged 10-16. They sing a song I’ve heard before, “Ni Wey Wey Bwana - It is you, Lord.” I stand there and look around the room. My mind is blank. What should I share on? What do these youth need to hear? I have something prepared but how will it come out? When they finish their song they go into several others I have never heard before. One youth starts banging on the water drum adding a rhythm. Then silence, they look at me expecting me to share. Then it all pours forth. I started at Psalm 139, spilling into the story of Gideon, overflowing into Galatians 2:20.
I’ve preached this how many times? No matter how many times it comes out differently again as it does each time. There I’m done, anything else I think to myself? I let the interpreter say what he needs to say just in case they didn’t understand. Then youth start coming forward, why? “Oh”, the interpreter says, ”these are the ones that want to give their hearts to Jesus, pray with them”, 37 in all. What? This was supposed to be an ordinary day, but to tell you the truth with Jesus no day is ordinary, it’s an adventure. As for me I continue living this life as an adventure with Jesus. Trust me even for you it can be an adventure wherever you are.”
In Christ,
- Mark
