Canadians Want Jesus
Written by Peter Youngren on March 31, 2010It’s been rewarding on our Grace 2010 tour to be able to announce that as of March 15th we are now available on Shaw Cable, channel 166. That in itself is an answer to prayer. I knew from the onset when we took over The Christian Channel now Grace TV, that to be really effective we would need Shaw Cable, which is so strong in the four western provinces.
During a time of prayer last fall, the Lord impressed on me to fly to the Shaw Corporate Headquarters in Calgary and talk to some of the corporate leaders within the Shaw organization. Well, to make a long story short as of March 15th, we are available in virtually every household across the west. In total, we reach more than 50% of Canadian households, and people from more than 170 nations have tuned in to the streaming of Grace TV.
We have seven more rallies to go. Pray with me that we’ll continue to see a great response for salvation, as we travel from St. John’s Newfoundland to Toronto. Pray for strength for Jessy Dixon!
One of the great memories from the tour is the testimonies of people whose lives have been changed. Each night before the service, Steve McLaughlin would ask people who have been healed, saved or received a particular answer to prayer through our previous visits or through Grace TV to record their testimony. From salvation to healing of cancer, it’s really rewarding to read the testimonies of lasting change and lasting miracles of healing in people’s lives. I’d love to hear from you how the Lord has touched your life. I conclude with best of all; 638 people responded to salvation during the first eight rallies. Yes, Canadians want Jesus.

Awesome, you’ve got it, GRACE all the way Galations baby. If we could do it then there would be no need for Jesus to die. People need the free word and be free from legalism. The more they fall in love with Jesus the more their intrapment to sin will fall off.

I very much enjoyed the Edmonton meeting. I am wondering, and have been praying for Jessy Dixon, if he is back with the tour, and feeling better? The lady that ministered in his place in Edmonton was also a wonderfully, anointed singer as of course is Steve. Pastor Peter gave a wonderful and inspiring message. “Absolutely nothing must be removed or added to the word of God”
Absolutely no compromise is acceptable to him.

Peter, I’m so happy you have secured Shaw Cable, the 4 Western Provinces of Canada but what about the other half of Canada on Cogeco Cable. Our half of Canada want Jesus too. I will pray for God to open a way for you to be on Cogeco too. God bless. We pray for you! May God richly bless you.

The evening of March 16th., we had an awesome time together, when Peter Youngren and team came to Winnipeg MB., when on Grace 2010 tour .
It was interesting to see, Jesus touching so many people in a powerful way.

Keep preaching that grace. You are such a blessing. The attacks from the religious Christians can be strong but you are stronger through Jesus. Years ago when I was getting into the grace message , God used a few of your sermons to really help open me up more to the message of grace.
I enjoyed the t.v. shows you did with Steve Mcvey. Yes many Canadians wants Jesus. They don’t want religion. Keep bringing the Good News.

I received a healing in Regina while you were praying for healing.
My doctor and the chiropractor had confirmed that arthritis had started in my left hip and for quite a few months I felt pain whenever I moved a certain way. It does not hurt anymore and I give thanks to Jesus for my healing. I am able to move my left leg comfortably.
