Seven Gospel Campaigns are scheduled. There is a gigantic harvest of souls and an abundant harvest of blessing for you!
NO COMPROMISE! The word compromise consists of two parts; “com” and “promise”. A promise is a commitment by someone to do something, and God promises that His word “shall not return void, but it shall accomplish what He pleases, and it shall prosper in the thing where unto He sent it.” (Is 55:11)
Com-promise is a negative word, because it means that none or only a part of the promise is kept. Here is good news; God never compromises…
… God’s commitment to you is rock solid.
Think about God’s promises…
… that everything you need has been provided in Jesus Christ (2 Pe 1:3)
… to bless you and your household (Acts 16:31)
… to be the savior of the world (1 Tim 4:10)
… to prosper you by his word (Is 55:11)
The trouble comes when we add the little word “com” in front of promise. Instead of trusting God’s promise we compromise and settle for second best.
Friend, every one of us are tempted to put ourselves in a compromise zone. Compromise is infectious. Soon our emotions, our physical well being, every part of us is affected. The quickest way to deal with compromise is to get our focus back on Jesus Christ. I think that is what Paul did when he wrote:
“I know whom I have believed in and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” (II Timothy 1:12)
In the book of Acts we see how Paul encountered a horrific storm, but he refused to compromise, even when it looked like everyone on his ship was going to die. God gave Paul a promise, that “nothing will be lost”, and he held on to that promise.
Maybe you are in the midst of a “storm”, fear is engulfing you and you are tempted to compromise. Don’t do it! Get out of the compromise zone! God has provided His blessing in your life, and His blessing empowers us to take the gospel to the whole world. Just like God was with Paul, He is with you today and nothing will be lost.
More than thirty years ago, I saw a vision of the continents of the world harvested for the gospel. God said He would give me partners whose hearts would be on fire. Thirty years later I say, “no compromise”, I believe what God’s promised.
Our focus is twofold… the harvest of souls, and… the harvest of God’s blessing on every partner.
