Why I Thank God For You

Tonight I step on a plane heading for Liberia, West Africa. Many of the needs have been met. I am grateful to you!

Dear Friend,

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you” (Phil 1:3).

I can relate to how the apostle Paul felt when he thanked his partners. He saw each one as a co-worker. You see, a Gospel ministry doesn’t belong to any one person. It is the ministry of Jesus Christ and all of us are co-laborers with Him, and with one another.

When I step on the plane tonight my heart will be filled with gratitude to God and you – THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION in this ministry of Jesus Christ.

I thank God for YOUR LOVE FOR JESUS. If God’s love hadn’t touched your life, you wouldn’t care about Christ, about souls or about this ministry. You allow God’s love to motivate you.

I thank God for YOUR LOVE FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT CHRIST. This is the heartbeat of World Impact Ministries and why we do what we do. The more people we can bring to Jesus, the better!

I thank God for YOUR FAITH (2 Thess 1:3). Thank you for not being small minded….talking small….thinking small….believing small. Instead, you allow the size of your God to determine the size of your faith.

I thank God for YOUR ACTIVE PARTNERSHIP. Love is more than words, it is action and your partnership demonstrates your love.

I thank God for YOUR VISION. You look beyond yourself, to enlarge your circle of love. You allow God to bless others through you!

I thank God for YOUR WORLD VIEW. Some only see very narrowly – only what is immediately in front of them. You see the world like God sees it. From Indonesia to India, from Africa to Pakistan, God loves people…and His love is expressed through you!

I thank God for YOUR GENEROSITY. Because you give, we are able to make Gospel history. Isaiah wrote, “but a generous person devises generous things, and by generosity he shall stand.” (Isaiah 32:8)

The campaign in Liberia will be the first of three campaigns in Africa with Tanzania and Kenyato follow.

70% per cent of the finances needed for Liberia have already come in. We must have another $55,000 for Liberia over the next ten days from when you receive this message. Thank you for your help!

After the Liberia campaign, we focus all of our resources on East Africa, and Tanzania’s capital, Dodoma. Islam and Christianity are battling for the hearts and minds in Tanzania. Our Gospel campaign comes at a crucial time!

Just like a car needs to be refuelled, World Impact Ministries needs fuel right now; we are in a heavy, very intense time of Gospel Campaigns. Whatever you do, large or small; God sees your love and your faith.

With deep gratitude to JESUS and YOU!
